This is more of an Insteon question than ph.
Is it possible to have the lamplinc report it's status when i turn it on by the switch on the lamp itself?
I can't seem to link it as a controller to the plc..

I believe that is not possible, but PH can be set up to poll devices and pick up on the change.

it's not possible directly. Local Control sends out no commands so I don't think even the status change trigger would work, haven't tried it yet though. Like Tony says however, you can set the polling and it will pick up.
