Dave,

I'm away from a home again. Thankfully I'll only be away for a few weeks this time.

I set up a VPN last time I was home so I could access my internal net remotely. It works properly, but I discovered that the remote CC doesn't get responses. It does come up, and it can send commands, but it can not receive updates. I understand why, but maybe you could add a direct socket connection in addition to the current methodology. I did try setting the listening address that you added with the last update, but that didn't work, probably because the communication needs to cross a subnet. I did setup the VPN to be on the same subnet but it still can't receive communications.

This is by no means important and I can live without it, but if it's a simple addition, it would be nice.

Thanks....

gg,

I'll definitely look into this. One of the things on the to-do list is a UDP rebroadcaster plugin. Basically it will be a plugin that listens for UDP broadcasts and then bridges them to a TCP/IP address that can then rebroadcast them as UDP on another network.

Dave.
