Ok I have been fooling with this for the last few days what I have is I purchased a Fanlinc and have it installed --not real keen on the real bright LEDs adding mood lighting-- but anyway what I want to be able to do is operate the fan from Powerhome based on parameters such as temp and time of day and occupancy. The fan is operated off of Group 2 on the device and the speed of the fan is dependent on the value of the Brightness level. Has anyone else already tackled this? If not what is the format for turning on Group 2 on an individual device?
Thanks and Merry Christmas!

Ed,
To control a group 2 on a device from PowerHome, you'll need to create a link with the PowerHome PLM as the controller (whatever controller group you want) and the Fanlinc as the responder (button column set to 2).
After that, you can control the device using an Insteon group command (it will control all devices if you have more than responder in the particular PLM group) or you can send an Insteon group cleanup command which will control ONLY that device.
Dave.

Thanks Dave. I thought I tried that but obviously I did not do it quite right. Works simply beautiful just as you explained it!
