Any suggestions as to why I'm not seeing IR IN in the event log anymore? The irs are coming in but they won't trigger either. PH 2.1.5C, USB-UIRT,Win 7 and the boxes are checked in Pref. Same problem on 2 system installs. Sounds like some sort of Win 7 driver maybe or a 2.1.5 problem as the problem has been around since it was upgraded from 4.

Pete,

I'll dig out my USB-UIRT and try to replicate and get
back with you. Not sure what you mean by "the problem
has been around since it was upgraded from 4". What is
4 (do you mean PowerHome 2.1.4? Thats all I can think
of).

Dave.

Dave,
For some reason PH is not capturing IR ins whether it be triggers or log. I know it use to work, exactly the last known release I'm not sure. It's been a year or so. PH will learn codes ok so I don't think it is the USB-UIRT. The problem is on 2 different systems but both Win 7 with similar DBs.

So I copied PHUIRT from 2.1b into my 2.1.4d and it worked. Your turn Dave...

Pete,

Still looking for my UIRT. Ive got one more closet to
check .

You said you copied the phuirt.dll from 2.1b to 2.1.4d
and that fixed the problem. I just checked the
sourcecode and this file has remained unchanged all
the way back to version 1.03.4.11 of PowerHome (this
would be 2007-06-27). If you still can, is it possible
to compare the file size and date between 2.1.4d and
2.1b? If you can do a binary compare that would be
even better. Im just wondering if you had a corrupted
file in 2.1.4d or not.

Let me know and I'll keep looking.

Thanks,

Dave.

Got me as I found nothing with FC B ... So I renamed it back to the original and it worked. It's almost Halloween who knows.

Well glad to hear its now working as I would expect. I'll still look for my UIRT so I'll have it on hand in case something else comes up .
