I am using the latest release and Win 2k... If I load PH and enable the timers but dont play past events PH locks up and stops respoding.  I can work with other apps but not PH (just an hour glass on screen)

Todd,

Is this something new that just started happening or did you recently change something on your system that might have caused it (such as upgrading to the latest version, new OS, etc).

When you enable timed events but don't play past events, PowerHome will attempt to intelligently catch your events up to where they should be without having to iterate through every cycle.  Most likely what is happening is something peculiar about one of your timed events that Im not expecting and it's probably sending PowerHome into an endless loop.

Could you not enable timed event, allow PowerHome to start up, and then export each of your timed events and email them to me?  You could also go into "SQL Query" under the Report menu and type:

select * from timedevents

Once the report comes up, you can go to File->Export and save the report as "SQL" and email it to me.  With this info, I should be able to determine what the problem is and fix it for the next release.

Dave.

I just purchased the program and got back into the HA groove...  so I don t know what it woulkd have done under the old version.  The only timed event is the announce hour macro in the sample db without the jump 999

I will export the report and email it today.
