All,

Ive found a bug in the generic COMM plugin that is included with the .12 beta of PowerHome. Basically what happens is that binary characters encoded using the decimal escape sequence (for example, carriage return = \013) will not be encoded properly. Using the hex escape (\x0d) works fine.

In any event, Ive corrected the problem and have uploaded the latest version here: http://www.power-home.com/download/ph_comm.zip

After extracting to the plugins directory (PowerHome must be shutdown), be sure and re-register the OCX using regsvr32.

Dave.
