Power home has stoped responding twice in last 30 days
twice 12 - 14 days apart.

with Microsoft error window (Tell Microsoft window).

when you look at the details , it states

airfoilinject3.dll
offset:0000b425

PH is running on standalone XP
PH 2.1.5A

not sure where to start
In last 30 days I had added file monitor plugin.
for now I have disable that .
it takes so long for error so have to wait any Idea
would be appreciate.

(P.S. I cant load the error image to forum get an
error)

Nick

Well you already guess where this is going. Need more information. On the bright side I have seen occasional lockups with XP. But did not get the detail on a dll that you did. I don't see a connection to file monitor plugin as I have never had a problem with it. I no longer have a test bed with XP. I run on Win 7, 8.1 and 10. When I did run on XP I did have an occasional lockup with 2.1.5A and I had to do a hard reboot to get around it. If the Event Log logged in any details up to the failure that might help also the system event log might lead to some clue.

system event log had the same information

Faulting application pwrhome.exe, version 2.1.5.0, faulting
module airfoilinject3.dll, version 0.0.0.0, fault address
0x0000b425.

I also have renamed the dll /rebooted so far no error 20 hrs
running.

and PH log stops when not responding prior to that no
unusual stuff.

PLM dual band 2413U

I will update to win 7 but timing is wrong have to wait few
weeks.

Nick,

Ive never heard of that DLL (its not part of PowerHome). I did a quick check on Google and renaming it looks like it may be best as its considered non-essential to Windows. I guess we can wait and see how it goes.

Dave.

I did little more search and found that is related to

With Airfoil, where you can send any audio right to your AirPort Express, Apple TV

long time a ago I used Apple airport express to test some audio to remote location.

for now I have completly uninstall the application Airfoil.

But don't know why OS was blaming PH.

I will wait and see....

Thanks ALL

Nick
